#2 at Oakmont Country Club

#2 at Oakmont is a short par 4 where arguably the most challenging part of the hole is the green. When I was lucky enough to play this course, one of my playing partners promptly putted his first try right off the green on what actually looked like a good putt. The caddy, unfortunately after the putt was hit, indicated the only way to actually keep that putt on the green was to putt it as if you were trying to hit it about a foot. After everyone looked on with skepticism, he demonstrated how to play the shot to perfection.

Old MacDonald

Old Macdonald #7: Par 4, 363 yards - Ocean

This is the 7th hole at Old Macdonald at the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. The hole plays up a steep hill to a view of the Pacific Ocean you will never forget.
